Canibus rapped once that "The greatest rapper of all time died on March 9th". I have loads of favorite rappers each with their own style but there's no denying what Biggie meant to rap music and NY rap in general. Sean Combs made him B.I.G. and so the reign of Bad Boy ruled rap and R&B in the 90's. Puffy's big break was definitely The Notorious B.I.G.
We'll always miss Big Poppa! I'll just let the music talk for itself. Too bad that the world only got to see two official Biggie albums since they belong up there with some of my very favorite rap albums too. Here's just a small portion of the music videos and his cameos during his reign.
